Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
TORONE: Stands for Total Characterisation by Remote Observation in Nuclear Environments. It started as an EPSRC-funded engineering initiative led by the University of Manchester that focuses on developing advanced robotics and instrumentation for nuclear decommissioning.
PhLAME: Stands for Photonics and Laser Analysis of Materials and Environments. This is a collaborative, multidisciplinary research group jointly run by the University of Manchester and the UK National Nuclear Laboratory (UKNNL).
